Be sure to make time Saturday morning ( December 3) to hear the first show on Air America from a Latina/o point of view.  Albuquerque's own-and Time Magazine's choice for one of America's most influential Hispanics- Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez will premiere "Our America" this Saturday.  She'll host the show with her father where they'll discuss a variety of issues.

New Mexico Polling

We've got some polling!  Now be careful it isn't very often that some we get some of the good stuff so go easy on it.  I don't want to read  about any Hunter S. Thompson-esqe Fear and Loathing escapades on Joe's blog on Monday.  So with out further ado... Survey USA released it's approval ratings for all 100 U.S. Senators.

I have to say that Survey USA out did themselves by providing all their polling online.  Earlier this week they  released  a 50 state tracking poll of President Bush approval ratings and it wasn't pretty for him in NM.

Survey USA also included many interactive tracking features that you can manipulate to view the approval/disapproval of Sen. Domenici and Bingaman.  Highlights on the flip.

New Mexico's Junior  US Senator  Jeff Bingaman comes in with a  59% approval rating.

Should Dems Compromise?

While reading a New Mexico political insider blog the author pointed out that Democrats have not been big on compromising with President Bush.  These sort of statements drive me crazy!  Read more:

I picked up on something very interesting on Joe's blog today about the "Energetic PR" of Senator's Bingaman, Domenci, and President Bush that drives me crazy. (emphasis mine)

KOAT-TV political reporter Matt Grubs broke a bit with the local lovefest coverage and trotted out Dem party chair John Wertheim who pointed out bipartisanship has not been a hallmark of Bush. Then again, the Dems haven't exactly been great compromisers either.

I don't understand why Democrats should compromise when Republicans control the Presidency, The US Senate and the House of Representatives.  Do you mean to tell me that even with all that republicans and president Bush can't get their agenda through?  When a party controls all of that and still can't get anything done Republicans have a problem.
